FAQ

How long does it take to play an escape room?

Each escape room has a 60-minute time limit, so the game will not exceed one hour. Whether you finish successfully or how fast you can complete the room is up to you and your team.

How many people are required to play?

We require a minimum of 2 people to run a session and a maximum of between 4-6 people, depending on the room you are playing.

What is the age restriction on your rooms?

Anyone can play – however, under-16 players must be accompanied with an adult.

What if I get stuck on a puzzle?

You will be given a walkie talkie to obtain clues; there are no restrictions or penalties for requesting clues however it is recommended to try without or as little as possible for the best experience.

What if there is an emergency?

For safety reasons, you are never actually trapped inside. You may exit at anytime should any unforeseen circumstances occur.

What if there is a last minute additional player?

We will cater for last minute additional player for $40 per person. However, please note the maximum number of players in each room above. To avoid over-crowding, we can’t exceed room limit as set above.

We recommend bookings to be made 24 – 48 hours before play sessions. As we operate in a residential area, we require all play sessions to be pre-booked via the booking system or other contact options below.

Can I cancel or change my booking?

LXM has a no cancelation policy; however you can re-schedule your booking if you give 48 hours notice for an administration fee of $20.

What if I’m late?

We understand that things may not always go to plan, however in order for the next booking to start on time there would be a time reduction on your game.
